Hello to everyone visiting this site. I want to start off by saying that I am very excited to be in HJISD.

My name is Dolores Gatica and I will be the ESL Coordinator for the school district, and assisting me with this wonderful task will be Dana Pace, this will be her 2nd year in this position.

We want to reassure you that our top priority is providing your child with the necessary help that he/she may need in order to be successful. This school year we will be working in conjunction with the teacher that they have for reading reiterating the concepts that they have learned using specific ESL methods.

Hola papas de HJISD. Quiero empeza por decir que estoy muy contenta de estar en este distrito escolar.

Mi nombre es Dolores Gatica y voy a ser la nueva Cordinadora de ESL para el distrito y ayudandome con esto sera Dana Pace, ella comienza su 2do ano en esta posicion.

Quiero hacerles saber que nuestra prioridad es provarle a su hijo/a con la ayuda necesaria para lograr sus metas. Este ano vamos a estar trabajando con sus maestros de literatura ensenandoles los mismmos conceptos que no logran entender con ellos usando los metodos de ESL.
